Our Mission
GOD-CENTERED THROUGH WORSHIP
"But the hour is coming, and now is. when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
John 4:23-24
God alone is worthy of our worship. Our goal is to love and worship Him above all else, God is not concerned with the physical trappings of worship. Instead, God is infinitely concerned with the heart of the worshiper. Cornerstone Church meets to worship our Creator in a comfortable building but God is not impressed with that. God is simply concerned with the heart from which worship originates.
Furthermore, Jesus said that God is actively searching for those who will worship Him with a heart that is wholly His. It is our prayer that God finds a multitude of such individuals worshipping Him from the depths of their hearts for the simple fact that He alone is worthy! It is our desire that God finds you doing what you were created to do - giving honor, glory and worship to Him!
BIBLE-SATURATED THROUGH THE WORD
"Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
Psalm 119:105
God has chosen to reveal Himself to us through His Holy Word, the Bible. The Bible is God's inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative Word for all of life. The Bible alone instructs how we, people created in God's image and for His glory, should live in a right relationship with Him and with others. It follows, then, that we must make the teaching of God's Word the central and binding authority in all that we believe and do.
Further, we desire to teach God's Word in such a way that together we become doers and not just hearers of God's Word As a result of this teaching ministry, we will be maturing more and more into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
Thus, through small group Bible studies, Bible study classes, Sunday morning preaching, junior church, and AWANA, we will endeavor to saturate our church with God's Word, relying on the Holy Spirit to change lives.

Cornerstone desires to share the light of Christ with our community. Cornerstone embraces the great commission to engage our world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are committed to loving the people in our community and sharing with them the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We desire to encourage, equip, empower, and expect every partner to be personally involved in proclaiming the Name and Fame of our God, and what He has done through His Son.

Disciple making seeks to equip God's people for the work of His ministry. The Holy Spirit has gifted each authentic believer with gifts to contribute to the spiritual development of our church. God wants us to be reproducing God-centered Bible-saturated, people-loving disciples. We will encourage God's people to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, to discover and develop spiritual gifts, and to grow in their faith.
